PATTAYA, Thailand – Monday December 25 saw a large crowd at Jomtien immigration, aware that Christmas is not a Thai holiday and does not involve any closures. New Year is a different matter. Friday December 29 and Monday January 1 are public holidays and immigration nationally will be closed. Offices reopen at 8.30 am on Tuesday January 2.
