Pattaya workers repaired broken sidewalks in Jomtien Beach after a Provincial Waterworks Authority crew dug up bricks and left them asunder.
Engineer Apichai Namkhet led a work crew to Thepprasit Soi 5 opposite the Pattaya Outlet Mall April 24 following complaints about the abandoned construction project.
Bricks were re-laid and the pavement leveled to restore it to a safe condition for pedestrians.
Apichai told reporters it was unfortunate the PWA workers left their job unfinished. The repair job only took about five hours.
