Police are searching for a man who robbed a South Pattaya 7-Eleven of 2,700 baht.
Angsuda Nopkao, the 21-year-old employee at the convenience store opposite the Friendship Supermarket on South Road, called police after suspect feigned purchasing an item and then jumped over the counter once the till opened. She said he threatened her with a knife, then stole 2,698 baht from the register.
Initially the thief had thoughts of stealing cash in the store cash-drop box, but found it too secure and fled on a Honda motorbike.
The thief is caught on the store video surveillance camera as he begins his escape.
