The Ministry of Tourism and Sports encouraged provincial governments and private companies to work together to boost tourism across the Eastern Seaboard.

Ministry staffers based at the Chonburi office hosted the “Study of Tourism Routes” workshop June 22 at the D’Varee Jomtien Beach hotel. About 300 tour and attraction operators and public officials from Chonburi, Rayong, Chantaburi and Trat attended.

The aim of the meeting was to get those attending to link their services and offerings to create organized routes for tours in the East. Operators and governments also were urged to provide better information for tourists planning travel.
