A broken housing for an electrical transformer has been taken over by Beach Road vagrants and prostitutes who are using it as a toilet and shelter for their illegal activities.
Despite being located opposite Pattaya Police Station, the plastic shed and its use by hookers offering immediate services apparently hasn’t been deemed worthy of officers’ attention, let alone city utility workers, who’ve left the broken housing unattended for more than a month.

In addition to being used as a makeshift toilet and trash dump, the transformer box is also a safety hazard, with a large, heavy, broken section propped against a tree and electrical wires left exposed inside.
A street sweeper, who declined to be named, said the door has been missing for months. In addition to transvestite prostitutes slithering in and out of the box, he said he’s also seen a snake.
