A dog named Lucky was anything but when he skewered himself trying to escape a yard in Nongprue.
Sawang Boriboon Foundation rescuers were called to the home in the Nongkrabok area to find Lucky had tried to climb over a meter-high wrought-iron fence, but one of the spires pierced his back leg.
The dog’s owner was not home and had left the canine in the yard. It took about an hour for medics to free the pooch, which was taken to a veterinarian for treatment.
