Toilet facilities at the Pratamnak Hill viewpoint have been left unstaffed and unclean for years, raising fears they have become sites for criminal activity.

Located at the back of a one-rai parking lot, the four toilets were once used by hoards of Chinese tourists who arrive by tour bus at the Naval Radio Station. However, in their current condition, it is doubtful anyone would dare use them now.

The restroom facilities also have been left unclean and not only smell, but are strewn with leaves, plastic bags, foam boxes and other garbage.

Most of the restroom fixtures are broken as well.

Vendors said if pictures of the facilities circulate online, they can damage the tourism industry in Pattaya and they urged city hall to remedy the problem.
