A Pattaya watch seller is wanted by police for stealing the wallet of a Belgian man who refused to buy a fake Rolex.
Jerome Geoarges Falque, 38, and girlfriend Supap Raksapakdee, 37, filed a complaint with police that the street vendor pickpocketed him while they were eating at a Soi 13 diner Nov. 9.
Supap told police the watch dealer approach them during their meal, but Falque refused to buy. Later, when he went to pay the bill, he found his wallet containing 10,000 baht, had been lifted.
Police are checking security camera footage in hopes of tracking down the shady dealer.
