Removal of the giant construction crane at the stalled Waterfront Suites & Residences project should be complete by month’s end.
Inspector Cris Chertsuriya said Sept. 19 that contractor Worakit Construction Co. had already installed necessary support equipment and a smaller crane was taking away pieces of the towering boom.
Pattaya ordered the removal of the huge crane sitting unused at the top of the 53-floor Waterfront tower for more than two years, calling it a safety hazard.
