A drunk Pattaya woman burned down her own home to settle an argument with her husband.
Ratree Entwissen, 42, was charged with arson in the Sept. 14 fire that destroyed the rental house on Thepprasit Soi 5.
Five fire engines responded to the blaze with firefighters needing about 30 minutes to extinguish the flames. No one was injured.
An intoxicated Ratree told police she and her husband had been renting the house for about three months. They got into a heated argument and she decided to end the fight by setting the house on fire.
