The YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center handed out more than 700,000 baht at its annual “Warm Family” event.

The 30th annual scholarships awards saw 290 students from 65 schools and institutions receive a total 724,300 baht in educational stipends of 1,000-3,000 baht.

Recipients included those attending 11 Pattaya public schools, the 33 other schools in Chonburi, eight students from the Redemptorist Technological College, five from Thai-Austrian Technical College, one science major at Kasetsart University’s Bangkean campus, one from Panyapiwat Institute of Management, and two from Burapa University.
