YWCA to hold walk-run Saturday

The YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center will host a competitive walk-run Saturday to raise funds for its charity fund.

Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome and YWCA Chairwoman Praichit Jetpai announced the June 15 race at a June 4 press conference. Runners and walkers will begin on Beach Road between sois 5 and 6 and will cross the finish line at the site of the former pier in South Pattaya. Registration begins at 3 p.m. and all activities are expected to conclude by 7 p.m.

Participants will be split into male, female and co-ed teams. Winners of each bracket will receive a HRH Princess Soamsawalee cup and runners up will receive sponsors trophies.
