Max was an Instrument Electrical Foreman at BP Chemical Plant in Port Talbot. In his late 20’s and early 30’s he also used to be a Croupier on the weekends and always enjoyed the odd flutter.

Max was one of the first Organisers of Tropical Bert’s Golf and moved on from there to be Secretary of the Pattaya Sports Club for some years. On Retiring from there Max became the Treasurer of the Royal British Legion, Chonburi Branch, until he recently retired due to ill health.

Max was always a fun loving man with ‘The Gift of The Gab’, and liked nothing more than a few beers, good friends and a sing song, if he could get one going. He also loved fishing, golf and D.I.Y.

Max leaves a Thai Wife, Tim, three children, Michael, Nicola and Kelly Ann, 5 granddaughters and 1 grandson, and also a sister, Sandra.

Max’s last day started with a short service at his daughter Nicola’s house, on 10th October, then on to Morriston Crematorium, Swansea. A wake at Skowan Rugby Club, where he spent many a happy hour, was held.

Max touched the lives of many with his great sense of humour and cheery attitude, and he will leave a big gap in the lives of his many friends.

May he rest in peace.
