Community leaders, military personnel and students joined to create a united front against drug abuse in the Pattaya area.
Banglamung District Chief Chakorn Kanjawattana and Nongprue Mayor Mai Chaiyanit opened the Aug. 8 drug prevention rally attended by more than 100 district officials, police, personnel from the 14th Military Circle, residents, and students from Suttawas Temple School.
The workshop focused on creating skills and providing knowledge for community groups and youths about the dangers of drugs, generate and strengthen civilian networks on drug prevention and suppression, reinforce strength of community and village groups against drugs to generate happiness, and emphasize knowledge for youth groups.
