Teams from three Pattaya schools will vie to represent the eastern region when they face off at the To Be No. 1 Dancercise regional finals Nov. 14-15.
Pattaya schools No. 3 and No. 8 each are sending teams to compete in the Junior (ages 6-9) and Pre-Teen (ages 10-14) categories at the aerobics competition at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
In the teenage (15-22) category, Pattaya School No. 7 and the Zion Dance Crew, a perennial winner, will carry the banner for the Pattaya area in the contest, which will choose representatives for the eastern and central regions at the national dancercise championship.
The dance competition is one of the many programs run by the To Be No. 1 organization launched by HRH Princess Ubolratana to help keep kids off drugs.
The winners of the Nov. 14-15 regionals to compete at the national championships at The Mall Bangkapi in Bangkok Jan. 23-24.
