Hotel Assistant Manager Teeraphan Chuiprosert emceed the June 4 event marking Minor founder William Heinecke’s 69th birthday.

About 50 Avani staffers hosted lunch for the students of the Redemptorist School for the Blind. Afterward, they presented the school with a new computer and 40 canes.

Teeraphan said that the entire food and hospitality company each year marks the founder’s birthday by doing good for society and making merit.

Redemptorist School Principal Chid Suknu led the kids in singing “Happy Birthday” in honor of Heinecke and thanked the hotel for its generosity.
