A Bangkok children’s shelter collected cash, clothes and other necessities at a donation event in Pattaya.
Chatchai Chaekoew of the Baan Nokamin Foundation organized the June 1 event at Soi Khao Talo and Sukhumvit Road.
Lines of Pattaya residents were seen lining up at the tent to donate cash, second-hand clothing, dried food and study aids.
Baan Nokamin is a Christian non-profit organization founded in 1989. Its mission is to support underprivileged children, the homeless and orphans. It currently cares for more than 200 people.
The group said it hopes to return to Pattaya for more donations at the end of June.
