Regents International School Pattaya has announced three exciting summer camps which will be open to both Regents students and visiting families over the 2016 vacation.

The annual Regents’ Summer School has been very well received in previous years, and 2016 is expected to be no different. As the only boarding school on the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand, Regents’ camp is open to both residential and day students.

It will run from 3 to 23 July 2016 and will be designed to help children develop new skills, meet new friends and make the most of their holidays through fun and challenging activities.

Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard will offer young people a chance to work with leading practitioners in Music, Dance and Drama.

In addition to the Regents Summer School, learners across Thailand will also have the option of joining two new summer programmes which are being offered through Nord Anglia Education, of which Regents is a part.

The new programmes include Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard, designed for any budding musicians, dancers and actors. A two-week immersive performing summer programme in collaboration with the world-renowned Juilliard will be held at Collège du Léman, a prestigious boarding school situated on the shores of Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Students will be inspired to explore and cultivate their creative talent through a unique programme designed by The Juilliard School and taught by Juilliard-affiliated artists.

There is also Nord Anglia Summer Leadership Academy – a unique opportunity for young thinkers to discuss and debate issues affecting the world today, hosted in a global centre of academic excellence, the University of Oxford.  Students will follow a stimulating two week programme of lectures, debates and excursions designed to build their understanding of current political issues as well as nurture transferable skills such as leadership, collaboration and debating. The programme will equip them to take an active role in their schools and wider society, whilst also giving them a flavour of life as a student at a top British university.

Mr Iain Blaikie, Principal at Regents said, ‘We are proud to offer our students and others such stimulating and unique opportunities, thanks to our associations with our NAE sister schools across the globe, as well as the fantastic collaborative links with Juilliard and the University of Oxford. This is just yet another example of why it’s great to be Big League school.’
