The 5th annual motorcycle ride from Pattaya city to the Camillian Center in Rayong is set to take place on Sunday, Oct. 9.

Bikes and big smiles are all part of the annual Camillian Center charity ride.
Bikes and big smiles are all part of the annual Camillian Center charity ride.

The purpose of this ride is to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the kingdom and most importantly to bring big smiles to the faces of children who have been battling this disease all their lives.

Starting from the Ducati Pattaya dealership on Pattaya Klang (Central), a second group of riders will also join the same route from Pattaya Harley Davidson on Sukhumvit Road (near the Pattaya Floating Market), both starting at 2:00 p.m. sharp, and from there on to the Camillian Center in Rayong.

Once at the Center, volunteers will be asked to provide a short ride on their motorcycles for a few children, up the side soi at the Center (Soi Kiri), no more than a few hundred meters each way.  Also a chocolate bar or ice-cream (ice-cream available on site) is always guaranteed to raise a smile as well.  As the Center runs entirely on donations from benevolent supporters, anything else you can contribute on the day will be most welcome.

While at the Camillian Center there will cold, soft drinks provided for the motorcyclists.  The wild boys from Ultimate Control will also give a display of extreme motorcycle stunts.

Please note: owners of all makes and models of motorcycle are very welcome to join the charity ride.
