The children from Havens Children’s Home (formally the Mercy Centre) had their annual holiday in Koh Chang recently. It was the 7th year they have gone to Koh Chang, where this time the children spent 2 nights at the resort & really look forward to it every year. Just look at the happy faces in the pictures!

They were picked up from Pattaya courtesy of the Planet Football minibus and arrived later that day. After arriving at Paddy’s Palms Resort, the first afternoon was spent having fun on the beach, followed by a delicious dinner laid on at 15 Palms.

The next morning after breakfast it was off to the jungle for the highlight of the trip, elephant trekking near Klong Prao! All the kids and adults always look forward to seeing the elephants and always have a great time riding through the jungle on them.

Then it was time to cool off at the picturesque Klong Plu Waterfall. It’s a twenty minute trek to the waterfall so the cold pool at the top was very welcoming for everyone.

After, it was back to White Sand Beach to enjoy the rest of the afternoon, playing on the beach and for some, a chance to enjoy a swim in the beautiful clear sea water.

The next day everyone was up early for breakfast and after a couple of hours playing in the swimming pool it was time to head back to Pattaya.

Havens Children’s Home would like to thank everyone from Paddy’s Palms Irish Pub and Resort, and 15 Palms Beach Bar and Restaurant for another great trip.

Also a big Thank You to Planet Football for the use of their minibus and Phet for driving everyone!

See you next Year!
