Neighborhood President Supaporn Sanphakaew hosted the Sept. 4 event sponsored by Boonkanchanaram Temple and the World Vision NGO on Soi Khao Talo 3/2. Pattaya’s top lawyer Sretapol Boonsawat was the lead speaker

Students from Pattaya School No. 7 and the community learned to conserve the environment by separating toxic and non-biodegradable waste to ease the government’s trash-collection process and reduce Pattaya’s trash crisis. The emphasis being on recycling to reduce global warming.

Moreover, the project aimed to cultivate youths’ participation in community development while promoting useful activities for their leisure time.

The kids also earned some pocket money from the waste they took in for recycling.
