Principal Jirasak Jitsom said the activity was held to develop knowledge and teach students to use the information from reading to think differently.

Most of the books followed real-life stories and the target was for students to think ahead in every situation and improve their local knowledge.

Jirasak said students can get fed up from listening to stories they don’t understand, but encouraging them to read is a solution to the problem. It is important that all content in a book is explained, shared and analyzed so that readers can actually learn from books and use that knowledge to continue their lives, he added.
