Students from Garden International School (GIS) have raised thousands of baht for the Nepalese earthquake victims after holding a mufti day and hot dog lunch.
The hot dog lunch held by the Student Council raised around 15,000 baht, a popcorn day bought in 5,000 baht and a mufti day and other donations amassed more than 62,000 baht.
These look great! GIS students enjoy their hot dogs.
Money raised will be sent to a Nepalese international school, which recently visited GIS as part of the FOBSIA Games (Federation of British International Schools in Asia), which will then help victims of the recent earthquakes that have claimed more than 8,000 lives. More fundraisers are planned by the kind-hearted and internationally-minded students.
IB students and Student Council members help prepare the hot dogs.
