GIS hosts first Careers’ Day

Garden International School has held its first ever Careers’ Day.

Prefects Berenice and Abhigyan organised the event for students to help them decide on which kind of career they may wish to pursue in the future.

Parents and teachers gave brief presentations about their various careers, which included accounting, building power plants, being a policeman, and travel writing. Other presenters had worked in ICT, been in charge of fundraising for museums and been engineers.

After the talks, students had a chance to chat individually with the teachers and parents about their careers and pick up some tips about what they needed to focus on.
