Students from Garden International School (GIS) danced, sang and performed as part of Peace One Day.

The event is celebrated on September 21 around the world. The organisation that started Peace One Day had an aim: for there to be one single day when all countries vowed not to wage war, a worldwide ceasefire and day of non-violence.

At GIS, which is based in Ban Chang near Pattaya, the Primary children and teaching staff all came together to celebrate peace in various ways.

There was Scottish Ceilidh dancing, the Macarena, yoga, hip hop, Just Dance, disco, the Haka, Malaysian dance and limbo. Everyone had lots of fun; there were some amazing dance moves but mostly students learned that making peace with each other and ourselves can make a huge difference.
