Talented students from Garden International School (GIS) did amazingly well following their recent LAMDA examinations.
This is the 5th year GIS students have been taking the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) examinations. This year the results were outstanding with a pass rate of more than 94 percent. This included an extremely rare 100% pass for Grade 8 Public Speaking for IB student Shomit. Grade 8 is the highest level available.
Of the 105 students in Primary and Secondary who took the assessments, more than 94 percent passed, most with flying colours. Gold medal distinctions went to IB1 students Jignil and Sabrina, while Srishti was given a gold medal with merit for acting.
To help prepare for LAMDA, several IB students acted as coaches. Well done to Mr Lund, Mr Abbs, Ms Hilmi and everyone who took part this year!
