Roald Dahl Day was celebrated at Garden International School (GIS) with special ‘golden tickets’, quizzes and storytelling.
To celebrate Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The BFG, there was a quiz for students and sales of chocolate bars – some of which had special golden tickets hidden inside. There was a character quiz for Primary students where they had to find clues hidden around school, and in the library GIS Principal Mrs Hawtree led a storytelling session.
