The ‘Sixth Form’ at Regents is roughly equivalent to Senior High School in the US and students study toward an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. This Diploma is recognised by the vast majority of higher education institutions in the US, with no minimum score normally required. Rather, a combination of factors including evidence of attainment in the extended essay and creativity, service activities, personal statements along with individual subject performance are all taken into account. The IB Diploma really does turn out well rounded global citizens ready to take on the challenges of the modern world.
Regents IB staff work closely with students applying to US universities, including preparation for SAT exams, and students value their expertise and experience when it comes time to write their personal statements.
