Our Jesters’ Fair is rapidly coming up on Sunday, September 4th, where there will be fun for people of all ages! Prior to that we will hold our stallholders’ meeting on Monday, August 29th. As usual, it will be at Jameson’s Irish Pub located at the Nova Park Hotel on Soi 4 off Pattaya 2nd Road in Central Pattaya. Our fair site coordinator, Bill, will disseminate information about the event and answer all questions starting at 7 pm.
Below is an outline of the points that will be covered:
- Location: The Regents International School Pattaya (RISP) is on Hwy 36 next to the Banglamung Motor Vehicle Registry.
- Date: Sunday, 4th September from 10 am to 6 pm.
- Access: Stallholders will have access to the area on Saturday, September 3rd, late afternoon for those wanting to decorate their stall or drop off heavy items. Otherwise, most stallholders will choose to setup on Sunday morning of the 4th, between 6 am and 9 am.
- Vehicles on the oval: Vehicles will be allowed on the grass up until 9:30 am on Sunday. After transporting your stuff to the stall, you then must remove your vehicle to the parking lot until 6 pm when you will have access again. If stallholders want to leave earlier than that, then they will have to hand carry your things off the oval.
- Parking: There is ample parking in front of the school. Please heed the directives of the school’s security and parking attendants. There is also additional parking in front of the Motor Vehicle Registry Office on Sunday.
- Gate Fee: 50 baht donation for adults. Children under 12 years are free.
- All stalls will include: one 4 M x 4 M area – one rectangular table, two chairs. Please do not take chairs and tables from other stalls. Also, one electrical outlet is provided, but only for 3 amps. This is not sufficient for running electrical appliances. Please pay special attention to hot cooking utensil safety. Banners at your stall should be no larger than 0.75 X 3.50 M.
- If you have not paid 2000 baht for your stall yet, please do so at this meeting.
- Only donated beer will be sold at the fair, so, please do not sell beer at your stalls!
- Children Coupons: These are for our project children, so they can play games and activities for free. They are NOT redeemable for cash.
- Miscellanious:
- Please remember that there is ONLY smoking in ONE specific designated area near bleachers under the trees.
- Please NO pets on school grounds.
- There is no running water at the stalls.
- No ice or change will be available at the fair.
- Please bring trash bags to keep your stall tidy and clear all items at the end of the event.
- Please secure valuables at all times.
