We met this abandoned, disabled girl after she had been rescued by the staff of Hand to Hand Foundation. She was barely 4 years old, had cerebral palsy, was nearly mute, and needed a wheelchair. And, that is how we came into the picture and to know about the sad, little girl who could melt hearts when she smiled.

Before long, it was evident that Fahsai also needed 24/7professional care and that is when the Camillian Home in Lat Krabang stepped up.

That was over 4 years ago and Fahsai is now 8 years old. She has developed into a charming, outgoing girl, which is tribute to the love and care they give her there at the Home.

Fahsai excitedly celebrates her 8th birthday.

She is also getting an education, both in Thai and English, and is proving to be a good student. Moreover, she gets physiotherapy every morning and is able to walk short distances with the therapist’s help. The staff agree that Fahsai is a “very exceptional person and a pleasure to know”.

That’s our girl; keep it up!
