Pattaya’s Soi Khopai and Chumsai communities put on their own parties to make Children’s Day more special.
Deputy Mayors Pattana Boonsawat and Poramet Ngampichet were on hand as Khopai neighborhood President Wirat Joyjinda kicked off the Jan. 13 party.
Wirat spoke to the youths about the need to be good, attentive to their studies and use their free time wisely and avoid drugs.
There was free food and drinks for all, scholarships to poor kids and prize drawings for everything from motorcycles to snacks.
At the Chumsai central Pattaya community, President Jirawat Plukjai welcomed residents from four nearby neighborhoods to a huge party.
There were many prize drawings, games and plenty of free food and drink.
