Pattaya-area children vied for 30,000 baht in prizes dressing up in Christmas-themed costumes at Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
The Dec. 21 contest run by Pattaya Entertainment Republic Co. saw 25 kids, ages 3-10, dress up as Santa & Sandy Claus, and reindeer and sing or dance. The event aims to give youths self-confidence and provide a stage on which to exhibit their talents.
Prizes were awarded for both boys and girls. The overall winners were Anthony Danjer Devine and Natalee Motter, both receiving 3,000 baht. Finishing second were Pongsiri Boonmas and Chayanooch Tanyaharn, each receiving 1,000 baht. Justin Doran and Chaleena Lavick each won 500 baht for third place. The Popular Vote winner was Natthika Langpa and the Central Darling prize went to Kawintra Poongkor. Each of the special-prize winners received gift vouchers.
