The Lufthansa Group donated 106,000 baht to the Child Protection and Development Center following a six-month evaluation of the Germany-based charity.

Airline representative Stefan Mourner presented the donation to Radchada Chomjinda, director of the Thailand arm of Germany’s Human Help Network, which runs the CPDC, Drop-In Center and ASEAN Education Center.

The money will bolster HHN Thailand’s education fund, vocational development efforts and facilities.

The Lufthansa Group announced plans in October to study the work of the HHN, its facilities and its mission to support at-risk youths. Executives then recommended that the airline’s headquarters in Germany sponsor HHN programs.
