The Royal Thai Fleet donated bicycles to Juksamet School to help children of navy families get to class easier.
Rear Adm. Pinyo Toleing Naval Special Warfare commander, presided over the June 15 ceremony to present 20 bicycles to students in honor of HM the King’s 70th anniversary of ascending to the throne.
Principal Naphat Taveephol thanked the navy for its donation.
Pinyo said donating bikes to kids supports the navy’s goal of fostering education and helping children get to school without impediment.
The event also included a blood drive and saw the delivery of computers to use in the navy school.
