Admiral Sangad Chaloryu donated 30,000 baht of the overall funds, the rest of which came from the navy education foundation.

Pichan said that the scholarships can help bring educational opportunities to children and he wanted all the scholarship winners to realize the importance of education so they could contribute to the development of the country.

Twenty-five awards were given out to the best housekeepers in the commissioned and non-commissioned ranks, as well as common housing.

“Prizes were given to winners of the housekeeping contest because the winners took good care of government property and beautified it for others to admire and use as an example,” Pichan said.
