In the early years of our 19-year existence of caring for needy children, we helped schools mostly by constructing new toilets. However, lately, the need at schools is now drinking water. Recently, YWCA Pattaya sought our assistance for the installation of a drinking water system at Nong Prue Kindergarten, where 600 plus children attend.
The impact of clean drinking water on children’s health leads to better attendance and, ultimately, better academic results. The facility also enables children to take water to their home so the whole family benefits too. This worthwhile project costs 37,000 baht and we, the Jesters Care for Kids, were glad to help.
