Nearly 1,000 young children completed the first step in their educational journey as they graduated kindergarten in Pattaya.
Mayor Anan Charoenchasri presided over the handout of diplomas and certificates at the Eastern National Indoor Sports Stadium April 4 as 955 tykes from Pattaya city schools 1-10 and the Darul Ibadah Mosque Child Development Center received their honors.
Proud parents beamed from the audience and rewarded their youngsters with flowers after returning with their first diploma.
Anan said the ceremony rewards children for their persistence in seeking knowledge and to show gratitude to the students for their hard work.
