Students competed in six sports from football to petanque at Photisampan Pittayakarn School’s 42nd sports day.
Pattaya Deputy Mayor Banlue Kullavanijaya opened the Photisampan Pittayakarn Games with city officials and parent attending.
From Nov. 13-16, youths competed in football, volleyball, basketball, takraw, petanque and track & field. A parade preceded the sporting events.
The sports day was aimed at promoting exercise, bolstering student health and offering up sports as a free-time alternative to doing drugs.
Evidently the results were not important.
