The Rabbit Resort donated 85,000 baht raised at its photography auction to the Baan Jing Jai orphanage.

Owner Paisan Bandityanon and Pattaya Provincial Court Chief Justice Sutee Sabua presented the donation to Baan Jing Jai Foundation Director Piangta Chumnoi at the Jomtien Beach hotel Dec. 28.

As part of its pivot to being a “photography resort”, Rabbit’s owners held an exhibition and auction of leading Thai photographers Dec. 9. Works from national artist A. Woranan Chatchawantipakorn and former Deputy Prime Minister, author and wildlife photographer Pongpol Adireksarn were among those sold.

The contest was the first in many planned by Rabbit’s owners to support both charities and photographers with the ultimate goal of making Rabbit Resort the center of photography in the Eastern Seaboard. Artwork is displayed throughout the hotel and in guestrooms.
