Students dressed in costumes made of recycled items and sold-off second-hand goods when Pattaya School 9 hosted its Environmental Conservation and Development Project.
Principal Sornchai Kemkaeng opened the Nov. 24 event aimed at raising awareness about the environmental impact of waste and not recycling.
Students from first grade to middle school participated in the recycled fashion show, with prizes given to the best getups. There also was a craft fair with 15 items again made of recycled materials.
The day also featured an open market when kids brought in old items they no longer wanted to sell. Others sold things they created themselves out of second-hand materials.
