Pattaya School No. 5 celebrated its 66th anniversary with an academic fair.
Mayor Anan Charoenchasri opened the Sept. 5 showcase and, with city councilmen, took a tour of the East Pattaya campus.
This year’s academic fair was aimed at giving students a chance to respond to the government’s Thailand 4.0 policy, which focuses on high-tech development.
Activities highlighted achievements in the Thai language, math, science, religion, culture, fine arts and social development. Methods of study were demonstrated, an English-language quiz was held and music and dance served for entertainment.
The highlight of the fair was the science show, in which students showed their inventions and hand-crafted materials.
