Pattaya School No. 6 celebrated its 61st anniversary with an open house highlighting student projects.
Deputy Mayor Pattana Boonsawat opened the Nov. 5 event at the former temple school with Principal Praset Pimolsakul.
In the morning, nine monks were invited to chant and bless the school, with the open house taking place in the afternoon.
The event included exhibitions broken down by discipline, with projects showcasing achievements in Thai and foreign languages, math, science, social studies, physical education, art, technology and culture.
Individual exhibits included paintings and drawings, crepes and “thong-muan” rolled wafers, furniture made with paper cases, milk tofu and arrangements of pandan leaves.
