Do your children know their Shimmy from their Vôo-do-Morcego? Or their Chassé from their Shmoney Dance? If not, they soon will because Regents International School Pattaya has joined forces with the Satori Dance Company in Bangkok to develop an outstanding co-curricular dance programme which is available both to Regents students and children at other schools.
Street jazz, contemporary dance, hip hop, capoeira, break dancing, tap dancing – even creative dancing for the under-six age range: Tuesdays through Saturdays, trained Satori dancers will be offering dance classes on campus as part of an extra-curricular programme which now numbers 135 activities this term alone.

These are great options for students who love dancing or just want to find a novel way to keep fit. But it’s more than that: Regents is also introducing activities on a Saturday which will help parents to spend quality time with their children. So, why not try your hand (feet) at father and son capoeira – the Brazilian martial art that combines acrobatics, dance and music. Or maybe mother and daughter belly dancing is more your thing? There’s only one way to find out… For more information, contact the school.
