Babies and young kids were given their first swimming lessons to mark the opening of Manta Kids Swim Academy in Pattaya.
Former MP Poramet Ngampichet presided over the June 26 grand opening with Minnicha Yarodek, director of the school on Sukhumvit Soi 9.
Manta teaches swimming and water survival to children as young as 4 months old to 6 years.
Babies get started in the Manta Splash course, which offers basics of swimming and floating for tots up to 18 months.
Manta Swirl reinforces survival swimming to children between the ages of 18 and 48 months.
Finally, Manta Swim takes kids 3 1/2 to 6 and offers regular swimming lessons.
To celebrate its opening, Manta Kids Swim Academy is offering a promotion of six bonus courses, a 500-baht coupon, underwater photo and three beverages coupons for children registering before July 16.
