Seventy special-needs children enjoyed a musical Christmas courtesy of the Father Ray Foundation.
Sumet Polkachar, manager of the Special Children Development Center, led the Dec. 28 activity where children sang Christmas carols and songs from popular Thai and foreign artists.
They also enjoyed musical performances of folk songs put on by foundation volunteers.
Finally, Santa Claus appeared to give gifts to all the children, including learning materials, toys and snacks.
Sumet said the event showed that even mentally challenged youths can learn and absorb the importance of holidays and enjoy cheerful activities.
