The Spiritual Health Foundation donated 300,000 baht to the Human Help Network Thailand.
Founders Carolin and Alexander Toskar presented their donation to fund facilities, meals and scholarships to HHN Director Ratchada Chomjinda following a “spiritual development” seminar they hosted.
The non-denominational Swiss charity is dedicated “to the non-profit support of children and dependent people. It has the intention to enhance the health and vitality of needy people and their careers and strengthen their skills for self-healing,” according to the foundation’s website.
Ratchada thanked the Toskars for their financial support and said the session was a great way for youths to learn how to keep calm and meditate for health benefits.
Good mental health is essential for developing youths and this session taught the children many things and was considered great brain food with the additional educational activities, she said.
In addition to teaching meditation and spiritual techniques, the foundation donates cash to groups supporting children around the world.
