This year St. Andrews were lucky to have artist Ingrid Van der Heyden join them for a music inspired Arts Week at St Green Valley. Students from Years 5-9 created musical chimes, an installation of extra-large musical instruments and Jackson Pollock style splash paintings. Ingrid also exhibited her own artwork inspired by the desolation and reclamation of Chernobyl.

It was great to see ex IB Visual Arts student Amita Aksonngoen back in school helping Ingrid with her workshops and supporting local art initiative C Space.

The Craft Fair on Thursday June 9th was very popular once again with so much gorgeous jewelry, crafts and food on show. It has been a pleasure to see creativity around school and to see how the enjoyment of arts and crafts can enhance our community.

The variety show really showcases the breadth of talent at St Andrews.
