St. Andrews International School, Green Valley wins second position in Battle of the Bands

On Monday, 17th June 2013, two of the Secondary School bands of St. Andrews International School, Green Valley campus participated at the ‘Battle of the Bands’ event hosted by Garden International School in Ban Chang. It was a fantastic evening with spectacular performances rendered by the Junior Secondary (Whitejack) and the Senior Secondary (In three words) rock bands.

The audience enjoyed the performances delivered by both bands and the students were excellent ambassadors for the school.  The programme consisted of works including ‘Locked out of heaven’ by Bruno Mars, ‘Hot and cold’ by Katy Perry, ‘If you can’t hang’ by Sleeping with Sirens, ‘Final Destination’ by Coldrain and many others.

The highlight of the evening was when it was announced that St. Andrews International School won second position overall for the competition! The head teacher of Garden International School complimented the students on entertaining the guests with their wonderful performances.
