Students across the Eastern Seaboard and Bangkok have been busily preparing for the 5th SAIS Eastern Seaboard Science Fair.

Students at Green Valley have planned their experiments and are currently in the process of collecting data so that they can process and publish their results and impress their peers and teachers in a bid to win a place to represent the school in this year’s event.

“The standard of entries is extremely high this year,” added Mr. Frost (founder of the Science Fair and now head of the St Andrews Hover-build project).

The Science Fair will take place on the 18th February and some fantastic prizes are on offer thanks to the kind donations from our sponsors; the SAIS PTG and the Amari (www.amari.com) have been extremely generous. “I have no doubt that the competition will be extremely high, especially for the food and beverage prize sponsored by the Amari; I might even enter a project myself,” Ms. McGlasson, the St Andrews Culinary Science expert declared.

Expect some fascinating projects, exciting challenges, tons of collaboration and don’t forget the Bottle Rocket competition. The Science Fair is coming. Don’t miss it.
