The ongoing “White School” campaign has been declared a great success after it was found that students in Bangkok are now more honest and responsible.
The Department of Education under the supervision of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) said in May the White School project has been a success, thanks to the cooperation and efforts of all responsible agencies including the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
The Director of the Department of Education, Jaroon Meethanathaworn, said since the start of the campaign in 2010, it has been found that students in participating schools have become more honest, responsible, and ethical in their personal dealings.
The director mentioned that the campaign was introduced in 438 schools throughout the capital city and is expected to continue.
The campaign also encourages students to have public awareness and contribute to the broader society whenever they can.
